VALPES Electric Actuator on VKD - PVC Double Union Ball Valve

An electrically actuated ball valve with PVC-U body from the FIP (Durapipe) VKD product range. Ideal for isolation duties, having a double union design making use of a unique ANTI-BLOCK systems that prevents and avoids ball blockages.

Suitable for processes up to 16 Bar at 20 °C using PVC-U pipework systems.

EPDM or FPM seals are offered as standard, offering options for use with many inorganic chemicals and processes across industries such as Water Treatment, Chemical Processing, Energy and associated industries.

This valve holds WRAS Approval.

The Valpes type 3003 is a powerful and lightweight electric actuator and offered with a choice of multi-voltage supplies, fitted with manual override, anti-condensation heaters and 2 extra limit switches for open and close feedback. This is all housed in an IP65 Nylon enclosure enabling the use of the assembly in aggressive atmospheres. Operating as standard in a Power to Open, Power to Close (On/Off) function. The actuator is also available with a Battery backup emergency rest function, where the valve position returns to a pre-set safe condition in the event of power failure. On request the actuator can also be supplied with an analogue input for positioning duties in control applications. Easy to instal with electrical connections via a DIN Plug Connector.
